How You Can Get Likes on TikTok in 8 Steps

How To Get Likes On TikTok

Hello and welcome! Here you will learn how to get likes on TikTok in this easy-to-follow guide. Also, this blog will show you how to not only get likes or “hearts” but also gain some new followers along the way. You will discover some easy ways to earn likes that you may already know, but also learn some things that may surprise you. Before you discover the secrets of getting more likes on TikTok, let us provide a brief history of this new social media giant.

The Creation Of TikTok

TikTok originally started in China, September of 2016 and launched globally the very next year. During the early usages of this app, users would create 15-second-long videos, lip-syncing to their favorite songs. Given its surprisingly easy-to-use functions, anyone could make these short videos and the concept itself was easy to follow.

It did not take long for users to start using the app for other entertainment purposes, growing beyond lip-syncing videos. People were now recording themselves singing, dancing, making comedy skits, and fitness videos. TikTok blew up in popularity in 2018 and 2019, in 2019 it was one of the most downloaded apps, just behind the likes of Facebook and Instagram.
As of 2020, TikTok has been downloaded about 2 billion times, that is about 30% of the Earth’s population to give some perspective. It also sports 50 million daily active users, making this a very lively and bustling social space, ripe for opportunities to those seeking fame and likes.

TikTok
Now that we have more insight into what exactly TikTok is, let us continue to step number one on how you can get more likes on TikTok in these 8 steps.

Table of content:

  1. Knowing Who You Are
  2. Providing Quality Content
  3. Consistency Is Key
  4. Challenge Accepted
  5. Be-Attractive
  6. Know-Your-Audience
  7. TikTok-Creators
  8. Fake-Followers

1. Knowing Who You Are

Before continuing with the rest of the list, it is important to know what you are all about. You can not check what is trending and copy what is going on for that moment, no, you have to pick something that is “you”, be original.
People are good at spotting someone that is a “fake” so be true to yourself and be authentic, have a good time, and others will naturally be drawn to you and help grow your follower / like counts organically.

Once you ask yourself this question and have an answer then you can proceed with getting the likes.
People will want to follow you because you are you. From here you can figure out what type of content you may want to create.

2. Providing Quality Content

Keep your content interesting. Whatever it may be, be sure to follow these four rules, the four E’s when creating TikTok videos.

  • Educate
  • Engage
  • Entertain
  • Emotional

These four points will most definitely help you with Likes. In whatever topic you decide to go with, for example, cooking, you can use all four mentioned points to involve in cooking. You can show how to cook a recipe, engage with your audience by going live (more on that later), entertain, and be emotional about it. Now I do not mean sobbing or anything like that but mean being happy or upbeat, showing you care about the actions you are performing.
As mentioned, a moment ago, you can check what is trending and be tempted to copy it, and yes to an extent this may be a good idea if it makes sense to the content you are producing.

Bonus Tip: Try the Live feature the TikTok offers, you can use the feature to do a live Q and A for your followers, perhaps a behind the scenes of one of your videos, or if you normally upload cooking videos, you can do a live cook show for them! It’s a feature that most users tend to ignore, it’s a free tool available to you, become creative with it and see where it leads you.

Hashtags

Including the right hashtags will make a difference when inserting them into your videos. Most TikTok users will use the hashtag #fyp, which stands for “For You Page”. To have your content on the For You Page is a free advertisement for you, as of now, there are 7764.6 billion views for this hashtag. You have the option to check each hashtag to see how many views it has currently, so try including a niche hashtag into your videos, that way you will not have as much competition for views and likes. The main reason for hashtags would be discoverability. Including a mixture of trending hashtags and niche ones will better serve you in your hunt for more likes.

Quality Over Quantity

People want to see high-quality videos compared to a bunch of low-quality ones. Here are some points to keep in mind when recording videos.

  • Good lighting
  • Picture quality
  • Catchy song/music
  • Purpose
  • Intended audience

For the best possible lighting, you want to try to use natural sunlight, if a room you are in does not have a window or isn’t in the best position to let in the sunshine then your next best bet would be “daylight bulbs”. These bulbs give off very convincing natural light, so you can record a daytime video at night!

Quality over quantity
Picture quality is very dependent on your phone, so you may want to invest in one that has a good camera with 12 megapixels. If need be, ask a friend if you can borrow their phone if they have a newer one, but highly recommend having your own.

Since the inception of TikTok, catchy songs and music have always been a huge part of creating videos. Having the right song that aligns with what you are doing on the camera will show other users that you know what you are doing and not playing songs for the sake of it being popular.

Know what the purpose of the video is, falling back to the four E’s you have to ask yourself does it perform one of four of those or it might serve more than one. Outlying a video will save you time, you’ll need it because making a quality video takes time.

Remember that each video lasts about 15 seconds with a maximum recording of 60 seconds. Make it count and if you decide to share a story about yourself you can always record videos in “parts” so you can have multiple videos titled part 1, part 2, etc.

Bonus Tip: Create “Evergreen” content, these are videos you can fall back on in the event other videos were not as successful. The best example of Evergreen content is educational ones, something that will continue doing well without trends or viral videos.

Now that you know what type of content you want to create and how to ensure it is of the highest quality, you have to be consistent with your uploads on TikTok.

3. Consistency Is Key

Consistency is king for all TikTok stars. Try to start with releasing one high-quality video a day and once you find your rhythm, push for two or more. The more popular TikTok users will often upload upwards of 5 – 7 videos daily. Staying consistent will create a snowball effect, more quality videos you release daily will lead to more Likes. If you stop creating videos for whatever reason, it will be much harder to regain lost followers.
Do not be discouraged if every video you put out is not a hit, according to seasoned TikTok users, getting to the first 100 or 1000 followers or likes is the hardest part. Learn to brush it off and continue making awesome videos.

Engagement

Engage with your followers as often as possible, especially your early adopters. There have been times other TikTok users notice a decline in likes and followers and the answer is because they stopped engaging constantly with them, so take the time to thank them or ask them questions in the comments section.

Responding early to comments on a video you uploaded onto TikTok hours earlier shows positivity on its algorithm.

Engagement

Algorithm

The way the algorithm works on TikTok has been somewhat of a mystery, but fortunately, TikTok themselves have shared some insightful information that will aid you on how to earn more likes.
Here is a statement from TikTok: “The system recommends content by ranking videos based on a combination of factors – starting from interests you express as a new user and adjusting for things you can indicate you’re not interested in, too”.

One of three factors that play a part in its algorithms is user interaction. Videos you like or share, followed accounts, posted comments by you, and created content.

Secondly, is video information which includes information such as captions, sounds, and hashtags.

And thirdly, even the type of device and account settings you use. These are things like preferred language, your country, and what type of mobile device you use.

Now because of the way the TikTok algorithm is set up, a person with a minimal number of followers still has a chance of launching a viral video. “Neither follower count nor whether the account has had previous high-performing videos are direct factors in the recommendation system.”

If you happen to have a larger fan base, then mathematically yes, you would have a higher chance of launching a viral video, but it is not the defining factor, so there is hope for everyone looking to make it big.

4. Challenge Accepted

At this point TikTok and challenges go together like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, everyone loves it. There are constantly new challenges so you have options in which ones you want to take part in and if you can find something that is related to your niche, then great! But if you do find something that is not directly related to your usual content, it is ok to leave the comfort zone to accept that challenge, and maybe a nice change of pace for your followers to view and possibly earn new likes from a different crowd.
Challenge Accepted
Most challenges are harmless and are in all good fun such as The Celeb Look-Alike Challenge where you post a video of yourself and well, you show how much you look like a certain celebrity. And some challenges are for charity purposes, everyone likes a giving spirit and in turn, you get more likes! Accepting challenges are a great way for you to earn more likes and make you more attractive.

5. Be Attractive

Being physically attractive is not the only way to be attractive to others there are other ways to accomplish this feat. Being authentic and giving 110% of yourself while making your videos will allure others to you. But do make yourself presentable, look clean, be groomed, and show you care about yourself, self-respect.

Profile

Your profile should also be attractive-looking. For lots of other TikTok users, this will be the first thing they see of you. Pick a great profile picture, your profile picture will be shown on all your videos so go with one that makes a statement about you. Have a catchy name or nickname that will be easy to remember. In your profile also link your other social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. While you are growing your likes and follower counts on TikTok, you could be doing the same for your other social media sites. Create a social media ecosystem that helps you and makes it easier for new users to discover you.

Show Yourself

According to a popular TikTok user, Rachel Pedersen, showing your full body compared to just a headshot shows your trust you have in your audience and will subconsciously show them that you put in extra effort to create great content for them. Always bring your best self and again, full energy when creating videos.

6. Know Your Audience

By now you know what kind of content you want to create now you must know your target audience, their demographic. TikTok is aimed at young people, and not just in age but in how they feel and express themselves.

It is more common now to find an older audience using this social site and just users but also TikTok creators. The expression “age is just a number” absolutely applies here, this is a space for everyone to have fun and show their creativity through their engagements.

On average more than 41 percent of TikTok users are between the ages of 16 and 24 years of age. However, in the first quarter of 2020, the number of adult TikTok users grew 5.5 times the normal amount. And what makes this social site amongst the younger crowd so popular, is in how short the videos are, it is instant satisfaction. People today have shorter attention spans and demand instant gratification. Use this knowledge when creating video content.

Bonus Tip: If you are a business the TikTok space is wide open, only 4 percent of U.S. social media marketers expose their business on this social media site.

Know Your Audience
You know what you are about and now you know what kind of audience you have. You can focus on making that hilarious, creative, informative video and generate the number of likes you rightfully deserve. Remember all your videos have to be high quality, with no substitutes.
Ok, you are now engaging with your followers and know a bit more about them, but now it’s time to discuss your interactions with other fellow TikTok users.

7. TikTok Creators

Like all other social media sites, TikTok is all about being social with everyone, which means interacting with other creators. Check out other creators and leave a nice comment on a job well done on their video. Try to stay within the same niche community you have joined and look to collaborate with other TikTok creators. Working with others with the same niche and a similar follower count is more realistic and would benefit both of you. In a comparison of trying to collaborate with a much larger TikTok creator, who probably gets a large number of requests from other creators.

Odds are you will receive the same treatment from other creators that want to collaborate with you.

8. Fake Followers

As you follow all the above steps on acquiring more likes organically you may find yourself discouraged if you are not receiving likes as you originally thought. After all, this is the TikTok world which is all about instant gratification. But please do yourself a favor and do not be tempted to purchase followers, yes there are sites you can go to if you want more followers by paying for them. Not only is this not an organic way of growing your followers, but they literally do nothing for you. They sit there, and that is about it. They do not comment or interact and worse of all they do not add likes to your videos, which is the whole point of this blog to show how to increase your like counts organically.

With these 8 steps out of the way, hopefully, it has shed some light on the world of TikTok and how intricate and simple it is to become a content creator on this social media site. Optimistic you will rightfully earn likes organically and have some fun while you are at it. A new challenge, get more likes!

The 9 Ways To Get More Twitter Followers

9 Ways To Get More Twitter Followers Easily
There are lots of ways to earn more Twitter followers and all sorts of guides out there but if you are anything like me dear reader, time is a resource you are short on.

So, in this blog, I have put together helpful and informative steps to help you on your journey to help grow your Twitter followers in these 9 easy to follow steps. By the end of this blog, you will have a much better understanding of how Twitter works and operates, the importance of consistency, and of course, how to get more Twitter followers easily!

With these things in mind, you will be on your way to grow and expand the number of Twitter followers added to your account. So buckle in, and let us get started with step number one on the road to answering the question, “how to get more Twitter followers?”.

Table of content:

  1. Tweet Often
  2. Don’t Tweet Too Often
  3. Follower Interaction
  4. Retweeting The Tweets Of Others
  5. Reddit
  6. Twitter Profile
  7. Content Is Crucial
  8. Hashtags
  9. Twitter Analytics

1. Tweet Often

We must tweet often on our accounts, this applies to both personal and business accounts, you want to show people that you are an active account.

The odds of someone following an in-active account are very slim, so be proactive in tweeting out to your followers, people like to see Twitter accounts that are lively. Speaking of lively, staying positive and sharing informative information or entertainment is a great start.

You may be asking yourself by now or even the very moment you read step one on how to grow your Twitter follower count, “How often is too often? How many tweets should I do?”.

Tweet often
Great question! A google search shows that you should generally tweet between 3 to 7 times a day. Most tweets made on Twitter are very short, no more than 33 characters long, and can become lost rather easily in a follower’s Twitter timeline.

Tweet often so your potential new followers will see that this is an active account and not an idle one taking up space in the Twitter world. But reader, keep in mind that there is such a thing as tweeting too often and that brings us to step number two in growing more Twitter followers easily.

2. Don’t Tweet Too Often

Beware of what you read online readers, google search for “how much you should tweet” may show results saying to tweet upwards of 30 or maybe even 50 times a day! You have to ask yourself, do you like spam?

You probably answered that faster than a google search result, the answer would be a big no.

Don’t tweet too often
So that is how we have to look at tweeting too often, looking at it as spam or junk mail or ads we are exposed to daily. You have to be aware of flooding a follower’s Twitter feed, remember each time you make a tweet it will appear on their timeline.

If they also have notifications turned on, each time you make a tweet, that will be distracting and honestly quite annoying for that Twitter follower. So instead of gaining new Twitter followers, you may have just lost followers by tweeting too often.

By keeping the number of tweets you make on your Twitter account in check, it allows the chance to better interact with your followers. And that readers bring us to step number three in how to get more Twitter followers easily.

3. Follower Interaction

Follower Interaction
Interact with your followers, thank them for their support and as mentioned earlier in this blog, this applies to both personal and business accounts.

Thanking someone for any support they have shown you regularly is a healthy habit to get into and further distance yourself from appearing to be a spammy Twitter bot.

Respond to people who tweet at you as well, this is a huge step in building your Twitter follower count, responding to their tweets will more than likely create organic interactions in the future and lead to retweeting your content with their followers.

So now they are retweeting your content, congrats! Now it is time to retweet some of their tweets. Now again you may be asking yourself, “I thought the whole point was to increase my Twitter follower count, why would I retweet others?”.

The answer to this question is explained on our next stop.

Bonus Tip: Try to engage with new followers early on, regarding business accounts, 15% of new followers unfollow due to zero engagement.

4. Retweeting The Tweets Of Others

Leaving a like or comment on someone’s tweet is fine and all but the thing that most Twitter users value above all else would be the simple but all so important retweet. So, to pick up on that cliffhanger from the last point, yes you want to grow your Twitter follower count… by retweeting the tweets of others.

Do not be afraid to retweet other people in a similar field as you, retweet something positive about them, and in turn, they will more than likely tweet you out. This will help expose your Twitter account to their followers as well.

By retweeting others, it can be seen as a form of complimenting them. Could also be viewed as, “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.” type of scenario. But please beware, do not and repeat do not state to other users that you will retweet them if they retweet you. You don’t want to be in this scenario because it can cause harm to your Twitter follower count and is also not an organic way of growing your followers.

Retweeting the Tweets of Others

If your tweets are being retweeted and you are retweeting other users, it creates a ladder that continues to lead upwards to your desired goal of more Twitter followers, but also think of other social media links to attach to your Twitter account.

Now you have heard of the big social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram for example but there is one that is picking up traction in the online space.

5. Reddit

As of late 2020, Reddit has over 430 million active monthly users, which is more than the population of the United States at 330 million. Reddit is one huge forum for many topics and a place to share information with other users on the site.

So how can Reddit help grow your Twitter follower count? Simple, post your Twitter content on to Reddit to further increase your foot traffic and to grow your presence on these websites. Now this same method can be applied to your other social media accounts as well of course.

But you do not want to sleep on Reddit due to its growing presence on the social media stage, think of all social media sites as tools, each tool has its uses and is meant to be used. You have a large arsenal, do not let them go to waste and take advantage of them.

Reddit
There is also an easier way for you to share your Twitter content and post it on to Reddit. IFTT.com allows you to tweet to your Reddit account, allowing for easy posting on two sites at once, neat!

Okay so at this point you are gaining traction and your Twitter followers are starting to grow now, take a second to pat yourself on the back, I’ll wait. Done? Ok now let us make sure your Twitter followers and future followers have a nice clean profile to look at and that your profile shows what you are all about.

6. Twitter Profile

Now a Twitter profile is very similar to most other social media profiles that would include a profile picture and a brief description of yourself or your company but there are ways to separate yourself from the rest.

Separating yourself will also mean, once again, proving you are not a bot. Sadly there are a ton of “bot profiles” and tweets made by them that are placed on a timer. In 2017 in an article published by CNET, up to 48 million Twitter accounts were bots or about 15 percent of Twitter accounts.

If a user decided to further investigate these types of profiles, they would be greeted by a default profile picture followed by a name with tons of numbers in it, such as John28987742.

Twitter Profile
You will want a high-resolution picture of yourself, something that is easy to identify you, no crazy background noise, keep it clean.

If it is a business account, you can use a photo of yourself or go with a high-res picture of your company logo.

Do not forget to pick an eye-catching Twitter banner as well, this is the one that takes up a fair amount of space at the top of your account, make sure your banner and profile picture complement each other, and also think of it as a header.

Proudly display who you are, things such as your title, what you do, what you can do for others, this is an important one. Let your Twitter followers and future followers know what YOU can offer them.

Be that in the form of providing entertainment value, for example maybe you are a comedian so put your best jokes on display that will be sure to give them a laugh. If you are an e-commerce type business let your followers know what you sell and provide brief descriptions of what you sell.

Bonus Tip: you can “Pin” a tweet that will appear just under your header. Pinned tweets will be the first tweet a user sees when they visit your profile, make it count!

7. Content Is Crucial

Before you continue your journey on how to get more Twitter followers, you have to remember that you are one of the millions of Twitter accounts online. All the steps so far are crucial in growing your Twitter follower count.

But if you do not have the content, it is going to be an uphill battle. You have to ask yourself the question, “What can I offer my Twitter followers?” This can be providing entertainment, informing, inspiring, or even changing their minds, get them to see your way of thinking, and provide infographics to help your case.

Fortunately, there are easy and simple tweaks you can do to grab the attention of other users and get them to read your tweets and not cast them off.

Take, for example, you tweet out a message to your followers with just text, a large amount of text and odds are those users may scroll right past it.

Now if you accompany that tweet with a similar message plus a JPG or GIF to go with it, your chances have skyrocketed for someone to not only read your tweet but to like and retweet it as well as attracting a new follower.

 Content

Now, this does not mean you should apply a visual graphic with every tweet you make out but rather use visual aids to break up the sea of text that other Twitter users see daily. As it stands, the max character limit for a tweet is 280 characters, does this mean you should use all these characters available to you?

The answer is no, tweets are meant to be short, remember earlier in this blog that the average tweet is 33 characters long. Be sensitive to your followers’ time and not drown them in a sea of text. Luckily, you can insert a link into a tweet if you would like to share more information on your other social media sites or your main website. Variety is the spice of life so give them options to view your great content.

Bonus Tip: If you do include a link in your tweets, try inserting it in the middle of the tweet. A study done by Postcron.com showed that that users are more likely to retweet that message by 26%, compared to inserting a link in the beginning or end.

8. Hashtags

Hashtags are a great way to get your tweet out there and chances are you have used hashtags in your daily social media usage. But a quick example of a hashtag would be the # inserted in front of a word without spacing, we will use the word “Twitter” #Twitter.
 Content

Including hashtags in your tweets will see an increase in engagements by twice the amount according to research performed on linchpinseo.com. Hashtags can be looked at as keywords and you can even google hashtag words, so inserting trending hashtags into your tweets can increase its chances of being viewed on Twitter and Google!

When using hashtags in your tweets please use them sparingly, use no more than two hashtags in a single tweet, and every tweet you send out should not have a hashtag. This will make your Twitter account to be spammy and you know who is spammy? You guessed it, Twitter Bots.

A popular way to use a hashtag that is on a schedule would be #mondaymotivation, this can be used on Mondays and would appear on the trending section of Twitter, and major holidays have specific hashtags as well. So keep up with the trends.

Hashtags
If you want something truly unique to you, you can start on your own trend with hashtags or use keywords that define you or your business.

9. Twitter Analytics

At this point, your Twitter followers are growing in numbers, great! Now how do you keep track of all these new activities and see what your engagements are looking like with your followers? Twitter Analytics is going to be one of your favorite tools in the shed.

Twitter Analytics allows you to view your tweet activity, this more or less lets you see what tweets are being retweeted or engaged with and which ones are not doing so well, letting you take corrective actions.

Checking on your followers, lets you know what their interests might be and even the demographic of them, important to know who your fan/client base is.
Twitter Cards can be used to help get clicks to your main site, much like how a blog can link back to your website. It allows followers to view your content neatly and professionally and of course another way of attracting new Twitter followers.

Twitter Analytics

Twitter Ads

Twitter ads can be another great tool to increase your follower count, but this option however will cost you some money. This option is favorable though for those who are short on followers or again trying to grow the number of followers, which is the name of the game. This will also increase engagement rates and you can use Twitter Analytics to view this.

Bonus Tip: when logging into other sites or forums more often than not they have a sign-in with a Twitter account or link account. If people like your content on those sites, there is a healthy chance they will follow you on Twitter!

With these 9 ways to get more Twitter followers, you are now in a position of power and armed with the knowledge to succeed in the growth of your Twitter count. All good things are worth doing and confident that you are more than up for the challenge. Twitter is constantly expanding, and you will make a positive addition to the Twitter community. Tweet on dear reader.

Another great benefit of this strategy is that you can build your database with clients who already said they are interested in what you offer. Besides, building a list of clients’ emails sounds way harder than it is.

As there is no real cost for sending emails to your client list, you can try different campaigns and strategies until you find the one that works for you.

3 Digital Marketing With Facebook

Digital Marketing With Facebook
Facebook allows you to reach a massive audience and offers a wide range of paid advertisements.

It also allows organic posts, ideal for businesses to promote their brand and services. There can be too many ways to promote your business on Facebook.

Here are some steps you can take to get started with your Facebook campaigns.

First, you would want to create a business page.

If you want to have a solid and professional Facebook presence, you need to create a separate page for your business – your personal Facebook profile will not cut it. A page is like a regular profile, but it’s for brands and businesses.

Also, instead of asking to “friend” someone, users must “like” a page to see its posts. When you set up your Facebook page, you will notice there are a lot of options to customize it.

You should add as much information about your business as possible, including your address, contact information, website, business hours, products, etc. It is important to also add a profile and cover photos that reflect what your business does.

4 How To Use YouTube For Real Estate Marketing

How To Use YouTube for Real Estate Marketing
Youtube works great to showcase houses, but also to share your company values and to get involved in your community. The best part is that, just like email marketing, getting started has no cost.

It is one of the most useful tools when trying to build your brand or market your company. It is considered the second-largest search engine, and if you’re not using it, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity.

Is Video Content Effective?

Video content is already important, and with the advancements of streaming technology and mobile integration, video could likely become the most dominant form of content in the future.

When it comes to digital assets, video -both streaming live and pre-recorded pieces of content- is attractive, versatile, digestible, and shareable, which is not always the case for other forms of content.

It is estimated that video content is 600% more effective as a marketing tactic than print and direct mail combined.

Build A Community

Build A Community
Building a large, sustainable community is one of the best ways to grow your brand. By publishing quality videos consistently and interacting with your users, you can build an audience that is engaged and eager to share your posts.

Having a loyal audience provides unlimited opportunities to market your products and services.

YouTube Is Mobile-Friendly

Creating content that is viewable on all devices is vital. The growth of mobile use is quickly outpacing desktop, so if you are not publishing content that is easy to see on smaller screens, you’re alienating a large population.

Fortunately, YouTube’s platform is mobile-friendly, which means videos you publish on YouTube will provide a similar experience on every device.

Make sure to add “subscribe” buttons to your videos and don’t be afraid to ask for users to follow your channel. If you want to build an engaged audience, you will need to post consistently; don’t just expect to go viral with one video.

Lastly, pique people’s interest by posting unconventional videos. This means to tell an interesting story uniquely. There are millions of videos on YouTube, so to stand out, you need to think outside the box.

Once you establish your account and start getting comfortable with the basics, you may want to consider YouTube’s advertising options to further grow your channel and brand.

5 Real Estate Marketing On Instagram

Real Estate Marketing On Instagram
Instagram is a social platform in which users can share videos and pictures. You can also add captions, filters, and engage with others.

It is a platform that gives priority to visual content. Take this in mind when creating your campaign, and share here your best pictures and videos.

Here are some tips that will get you going on Instagram

Powerful Instagram Marketing Tips (That Actually Work)

  • Switch to a business profile
  • Before you start thinking about your Instagram marketing plan, be sure that you have an Instagram Business Account.

How to switch: You’ll know if your Instagram account has access to the business profile by opening the app and clicking on your profile icon on the bottom right of the screen to access your profile. If you see this message on the top of the screen, you’re eligible to switch to a business profile:

  • Use free Instagram tools
  • You can even get a breakdown of the demographics of your followers, including information on their age, gender, location, and most active hours.

  • Use product teasers
  • Instagram is a great place to advertise your products. And if you play your cards right, you will not annoy users or scare them off with advertisements, either.

  • Create sponsored ads
  • Instagram ads have become commonplace on the platform. The best part? You can control exactly how much you want to spend on them by setting an ad budget.

  • Use Instagram Stories
  • If you want to generate leads, Instagram Stories are here to help. They are only live for 24 hours, but Stories can be saved to any of your devices and reused at a later point.

  • Partner with influencers for a wider reach
Partner with influencers for a wider reach
More and more people are buying services or products based on what they see in their feed from the influential people they follow. They trust them.
  • Collect user-submitted photos
  • Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to create great content for your Instagram page without doing any of the hard work? And your followers will probably enjoy user-generated content even more than they enjoy yours because it is authentic and unpredictable.

  • Come up with an interactive branded hashtag
  • Creating a hashtag that your company (and other users) can search for is essentially free advertising.

  • Post at the right times
  • Over-posting on Instagram is a surefire way to turn off your existing followers. But you want to post consistently so that you stay in their news feed regularly. One of the best ways to do this is to only post during peak days and hours when your followers are online

  • Make sure you track the right metrics
  • You cannot improve your Instagram performance and optimize it unless you know how well your page and posts are performing (or underperforming). When you keep an eye on what the growth rate of your followers looks like, you can see how the kind of content your posting (or your posting frequency) is affecting things.

2 Start With The Basics

Start With The Basics
Pinterest is the 4th most used social media site where everyone goes to discover ideas and to get inspiration for the new things they want to buy or make.

Setting up an account is just the beginning; once created, you will see Pinterest is a platform where people look for specific needs, ideas, or DIY solutions.

To begin promoting on Pinterest, you have to dive into it. In this guide, we will show you
How to set up an account, and we will see there is a business account for a reason: To help businesses like yours.

Also, with a Pinterest account, you can drive traffic to your website.

First of all, we have to understand and know all the Pinterest basics.

You can start by getting around, look for other people’s boards, and take inspiration from them. Soon you’ll start to ask yourself the right questions: what a pin is? How frequently should I pin? Is my pin click-worthy for the customer viewing that pin?

Everything Is About Planning

Everything Is About Planning
Pinterest is a fantastic platform for businesses that can help you generate traffic to your website, and boost your brand exposure. You only need to make creative, captivating content & understand who your audience behaves.

One of the best ways to do this is by paying attention to trends, This will often give you a very good idea of what your customers want to see.

Now, what we need to do is to make plans for seasonal content. You can explore other companies’ boards to take inspiration about what type of content to pin for every season.

You can also make sure your website images are pinnable with a “save to Pinterest” button.

Get Creative

Get Creative
There are many ways you can use your Pinterest boards to drive customers. Here some ideas.

Give your audience offers or put items on sale just for them
This way, you keep engaging and building that customer service and have them interested.

Engaging will expand your customer base
Keep customers engaged by building relationships through commenting or communicating with them, saying things as simple as “Thank you” or “good comment”. Being generous and pleasant is the best way to build your customer’s trust.

Remember one of our objectives is that people repin our content, so we can gain even more views.

Get To Know Your Audience

Pinterest is a great feature because it helps customers find what they want, but it also gives you the advantage to get into their imagination. If you pay close attention, your audience’s behavior will show you their future needs.

Were they looking for wedding dresses? Maybe later, that same person will be looking for a house to buy, an SUV to lease, or daycare near them.

Pinterest is a place where a business like yours can bloom if you provide your audience with things they don’t know they want yet.

3 Learn To Pin The Right Way

Learn To Pin The Right Way
When used correctly, Pinterest can be a very effective way to get more customers, quick and easy. This is because this platform has never been more manageable. But to understand how Pinterest works, you must understand the basics of pinning.

Now, what is pinning, you may ask? Pinning is some form of bookmark for users to save ideas they love on Pinterest.

And this is the part we are interested in as a business! because by pinning, you help potential customers to get to your website and let them see what type of ideas and or products you offer.

Connect To Your Website

Another great advantage is using the feature of pinning through Pinterest; you can directly link consumers back into your website.

You can also have an advertiser account and promote your pins there, just another excellent feature from Pinterest

Remember there are over 200 billion pins on Pinterest to look at. That means you need to make sure your website is pinnable with a save button. This also helps create easier guidance for your customers.

Focus On The Details

Focus On The Details
When pinning, you need to make sure to do a checklist and make sure your pin has vertical imagery and descriptive copy. Having a text layer can help you to reinforce the message you are trying to give.

You should also include your logo so your brand doesn’t get lost by the repin shuffle effect on Pinterest.

Last but not least, be a good storyteller. Show what your brand is about. This way, pinners can view themselves as your customers.

4 Master Pinterest Content Creation

75% of Pinterest users say it’s the best place to look for new interest. So, if you have creative ideas and detailed, in-depth pictures, upload them, get creative, and pinboards of ideas.

When creating content, you need to make sure you produce inspirational and informative content for your viewers.

Use Boards And #Hashtags

Use Boards And #Hashtags
Get to know the hashtags related to your service that people are using. And don’t be afraid to ask, what are they looking for.

You can also create themed boards, For example, you can curate a board with all your existing products that match the seasonal color, or the products that match with your favorite Netflix series. Your imagination is the limit.

What Size And Ratio Should Be My Pinterest Images?

Focus on using light to medium images, instead of darker looking images. It would be best if you also used vertical pins, The ideal ratio is 2:3, but a 1:2 ratio is also acceptable.

This is important to keep in mind because Pinterest will cut off any image larger than that. The resolution of the image is also very important. Pinterest says the best resolution to use is 600 x 900 pixels.

Add Text, But Not Too Much

Add Text, But Not Too Much
Limit the amount of text. Big chunks of text will force the platform to use smaller fonts, making your pin look unattractive and harder to see. Details are essential when creating the most effective pin.

Multiplatform Pins

Make sure to test out the pins and view them on different mobile devices to ensure everything looks good. This is important because about 80% of Pinterest users are accessing the platform from a mobile device.

Be selective and find the right images for what you are trying to express. Your content should stay positive and relevant to your website’s mission goal. Understand the vibe of the content and how it might make others feel.

Use External Tools

If you don’t feel creative enough to come up with a good board design, you can try Tailwind Create to make pin designs.

Tailwind creates a website to get ideas for your business, allowing you to stream personalized pin designs.

A team of experts creates pins for you that are all optimized for Pinterest engagement, and if you don’t like something, you can always switch between colors, layouts, and images so you can get the perfect look. It gets the job done for you! How much easier can that get.

Use External Tools

5 Plan Ahead For Seasonal Content

When you think about finding perfect moments to pin a product, take notice of upcoming seasons or holidays/events/celebrations. This can become a crucial part of building your plan for the next 2-3 months.

Keep in mind people like to plan for holidays, so the best moment to promote, for example, your Back to School boards, is not during Back to School season, but at least a couple of months before.

When thinking about your Pinterest content strategy, try to have at least 6 months planned. This helps you to keep track of important dates.

Your profile will look more professional and better prepared when you take the time to plan ahead of time.

This will put you ahead of other competitors because you are moving with the trends, instead of trying desperately to catch on to them.

These efforts will help your users get engaged with your brand. If you think about it you can have all the seasons you want on your boards. That’s because almost every month there’s something to celebrate.

  • New Year
  • Valentine’s Day
  • St. Patrick’s
  • Football Season
  • Mother/father day
  • back to school for kids, and college students
  • 4th of July
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

On top of that, you can celebrate your business anniversaries, or come up with a sale season.
The list goes on! You get the idea.

As you can see, you can find endless ideas for possible pins, all you have to do is gather your team, and make a brainstorm to find the best seasons for your brand.

6 Engage With Your Audience

Engage With Your Audience
One of Pinterest’s best features is you can build a stronger relationship with customers. You can begin building relationships by engaging customers through comments. Leaving them a comment saying thank you or some form of appreciation can be all you need to keep them hooked.

Diversify Your Content

It’s also important to have different boards or product categories. This gives your audience a glance and a way to easily sweep between your pins and boards.

Get Chatty

Undoubtedly, one of the best things you can do to get more engagement is to notice those users who are repinning your pins and following them. This shows your audience that you are interested in seeing them back on your page.

This will help boost engagement. Hence, they might want to follow you back. It would also help if you ask them for their feedback.

Simple comments made to your customers or users can have a huge impact. If they’re feeling truly appreciated, they might repin you, giving more opportunities for your products to be showcased and seen by even more people.

Pinterest Promotions And Sales

Pinterest Promotions And Sales
Another way to engage with customers on Pinterest, try running promos or contests online for your users. You can offer them a coupon, or a presale on your most wanted items.

Remember to give a good thought to your promo and communicate all the rules to your audience before you launch it.

Customers love having offers available just for them. Who doesn’t like exclusive discounts? This is a perfect way to interact with customers because users are willing to buy things on sale.

7 And Remember…

Engage

Engage with your customers and whenever possible, ask for their feedback. This platform can help not only to promote your business but also to inspire others.

Spend Less

Another great advantage of using Pinterest as part of your marketing efforts is that you don’t have to pay for ad campaigns to showcase your product. This is a free worldwide used platform with endless possibilities.

Scratch Their Curiosity

Remember, pinners like to discover new products and brands, so certainly, there is room for everyone on this boat! Do not get discouraged and make that business thrive!

Long-Term Benefits

Remember getting Pin exposure can increase your website’s traffic and help you boost brand exposure and get to more customers.

Show Them The Way

Take your time to build your profile full of different boards with pins worth looking at. Also, make sure your customers have an easy way to go to your website or online store.

How To Sell Real Estate With Social Media (9 Proven Strategies)

by Luis Chavez | Feb 3, 2021 | Social Media

So, you want to know how to sell Real Estate on social media? You’re in the right place!

Social networks have become part of the daily life of most people. So much that today we review our profiles almost routinely. That’s why it is a great alternative to promote your company regardless of whether it is well established, or if it is a company that is still growing.

For this reason, social media has become an indispensable channel for the business world. It is in your best interest to have the best real estate marketing strategies for your platforms.

The Power Of Social Media In Numbers

Globally, there are more than 3 billion active users on social networks; In the United States, 68% of Americans regularly visit Facebook and 73% visit YouTube.

Increasingly, real estate agents are turning to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and more to connect with potential property buyers. A recent survey of marketers found that social media marketing is considered the most effective tactic for reaching customers, and the National Association of Realtors offers comprehensive guides to social media best practices for agents.

Here is the summary of the statistics on the use of social networks

  • Facebook is considered the most popular social media platform
  • 90.4% of Millennials, 77.5% of Generation X, and 48.2% of Baby Boomers are active users of at least one social network
  • 2 hours 22 minutes a day is the average time of use of social networks and online messaging

  • 54% of social browsers use social media to search for products
  • 71% of consumers who have had a positive experience with a brand on social media will likely recommend it to their friends and family
  • 49% of consumers trust the recommendations of influencers on social networks
  • 91% of all social media users access social channels through their mobile devices

How To Choose Between Facebook, Instagram, And Other Platforms?

Each Social Network has an objective and a form of use. The trend is for users to participate in more than one network. The use of hashtags or keywords is becoming increasingly fashionable

Facebook

Facebook

It is the most widespread social network, with more than one billion users. We all know the “like” or the “share”, as well as its various functionalities. This is a platform “suitable for all audiences”.

Facebook can be used in two ways: as a user and as a Fan Page. By creating a company page (the most recommended), it is possible to establish long-term relationships with potential customers. Also, this is the best way to create an interactive community where everyone can participate, contribute, and share.

These pages are public and registered in search engines (like Google search results).

Instagram

Instagram

Currently, 500 million stories are uploaded daily around the world. Instagram is characterized by its visual nature, being the perfect application for real estate agents looking to establish a more personal connection with their followers.

Instagram has options such as InstaStories, image, and text editors, which allow generating novel, fresh and striking messages through impressive images and videos, attracting the attention of millions of users every second.

Because it is linked to Facebook, Instagram gives the option of easily sharing publications on both social networks at the same time. In this option, the user decides whether to use it or not. There is also connectivity with Twitter and others, giving a wide range of possibilities to make yourself visible.

Twitter

Twitter

It has already more than five hundred million users. Twitter is a two-way communication platform with the nature of a social network that limits its messages to 280 characters. This means short and direct messages must be constructed, a feature highly valued in advertising due to the impact of such a statement.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn

This social network already has more than 50 million users. Having a profile on LinkedIn is one of the best professional cover letters on the Internet and is one of the most current platforms for doing business and strategic alliances.

Since this is a job-seeking-related platform, we suggest you use it only for professional purposes.

YouTube

YouTube

YouTube is the official video channel of Google which will help us to find our services more quickly.

At the company level, it is necessary to have a presence in multimedia social networks. A promotional video can mean thousands of visits to the website.

YouTube channels can also offer an easy system to subscribe to. As the number of subscribers grows and the video views increase, so do the promotional opportunities and in turn send traffic to the website, all completely free.

Blogging

Blogging
The Blog is not directly a social network, but we can encompass it with them, as it is a means to interact between the company and the public.

It also generates traffic and positioning if you know how to use it well. By integrating it into the agency’s website, it will go from being a purely informative page to an interactive site, which will make visitors stay longer.

It should be published periodically and allow comments from readers.

Email Marketing

Email Marketing
Another way to continually connect with your client portfolio is through E-mail Marketing. For this, it is necessary to have a good well-segmented database. It can help you increase the rate of conversion and interaction.

You can send a weekly, biweekly, or monthly newsletter or information that promotes the properties you have on the market.

Follow A Different Strategy For Each Social Platform.

Follow A Different Strategy For Each Social Platform.
To create more, and more diverse content, we suggest you combine the housing advertisements with news of interest about the neighborhoods. You also can talk about the areas where the properties are offered (this will provide a source of information to potential clients about the surroundings).

Advice on searching for housing, information on the economy of the sector in the country, or user guides (such as being informed about rental contracts, differences between types of mortgages, contracting insurance, etc.)

Develop An Appropriate SEO Strategy

Develop An Appropriate SEO Strategy
The success of your company’s social media account will depend largely on the digital marketing strategy you use and the content you share on your channels.

One of the first tasks to perform to gain online visibility (web positioning) is to activate content marketing, and for this, we will need the target audience defined in the marketing plan, the personal buyers.

  • Where is that target audience? (social networks, sites, interests, topics)
  • What devices do they use? (mobile, desktop, voice search)
  • What interests them?
  • What are their needs?
  • How can our company help you?

To launch all this real estate marketing machinery on social networks, we need a starting point, And an SEO strategy could be the right one.

What we suggest you is to carry out good keyword research. Look for topics, terms, and questions your audience may be asking google.

Before creating a list, you must know all the types of keywords that will allow you to increase and optimize SEO traffic.

Let us explain it better through the following examples:

  1. Generic Real Estate Keywords
  2. Keywords like: house sale, apartment sale, office purchase, houses for sale, etc.

A person is generally looking for a home in the same province, state, or country, so your IP will give you general and local results. First for your area, then in the rest of the nearby areas, and then throughout the country.

The problem with this type of keywords is that they are all already registered in an orderly manner by real estate portals and classifieds, and it is challenging to compete with them on a low budget.

  3. Semi-Generic Real Estate Keywords
  4. Some examples could be

    • “House for sale in San Francisco”
    • “Apartments for sale in Sacramento”
    • “Commercial house in Santa Clarita”
    • “Apartment in Santa Monica with views”
    • “Apartment in Santa Barbara on the beach”

These keywords are a bit less general and show that the user is clearer about what they want.

Semi-generic keywords are usually used once the user has already been researching online and has a more concrete idea of what to look for and where. In commercial terms, the customer has more potential to purchase or request information when they find you.

  5. Long-Tail Keywords
  6. Long-tail real estate keywords are of the type: “Sacramento 2-bedroom houses $250,000”; “San Francisco city 3-bedroom apartment”; “Luxury home in Los Angeles”, (Temecula city area), etc.

In conclusion, keywords are a fundamental component of SEO, but keywords alone are worth nothing. We must use keywords with relevant and good quality content.

Write A Good Biographical Presentation

Write A Good Biographical Presentation

Within social networks, it is important to describe the biographical presentation of your real estate company clearly and concisely:

  • Who are we?
  • What do we do?
  • What do we focus on?
  • How do we help you?
  • What differentiates us from others?

We also recommend using a catchphrase within your bio. A good slogan will help you identify and affirm the mission of your real estate company.

What is the objective? Leave a key message engraved in the minds of consumers so that, even if they do not remember anything else about your ads, they still remember the slogan.

We have compiled some examples so you can see what a slogan looks like.

  • Century 21 is a real estate franchise with a slogan that we love: “It does everything for me”. Four words that summarize the philosophy of the brand.
  • On the contrary, REMAX puts the accent on the more professional aspect, which encourages entrepreneurs to become part of the company with the slogan, “The Entrepreneur in You.”

Follow the example of these and look for what makes you unique. A good slogan, like a good design, should stand the test of time and remain attractive. If you want to know how to sell real estate with social media, you want to have your slogan right

Use Limited-time Offers To Your Advantage
Social networks are the best channel to promote special offers and sales for your real estate clients. This is a great way to not only bring traffic to your channels and website, but it will also help you keep your customers loyal.

For example, you can invite your potential real estate clients to know the properties through a virtual visit, this will make them know the benefits of acquiring your services. Make sure to make their visit, a premium experience. Give them all the information they want and offer them free financing or mortgage loan advice.

Keep Your Audience Updated About New Developments

One of the great advantages of using social networks in real estate marketing is that you can share information about new projects and developments. This is an excellent way to keep up to date with new market movements; while keeping your audience informed and connected

Every Sale Is A Success Story -Use It!
Did your team just sell a large property? Well, do not hesitate to let your followers know through real estate marketing on social media! Sharing success stories is a good way to support the credibility and seriousness of your real estate agency.

Additionally, this type of publication will allow you to keep the portfolio updated with the available properties.

Take Advantages Of Visual Media

Take Advantages Of Visual Media
Nowadays, it is no longer just about market strategies or choosing the most popular sites or media. Selling more properties is about creating a compelling vision for future home buyers.

And if an image is worth a thousand words, good photography or video says a lot about the quality of your personal and commercial brand.

So how do you make your ads or listings stand out and generate leads?

Use Appealing Pictures

Today, bad real estate photos are simply not an option. Professionally taken photos have been shown to sell homes at least 32% faster.

A professional photographer knows how to make every room look amazing – some rooms can be small and difficult to photograph. Other rooms can be simple and lacking in depth. A professional will know how to work with any space and make the most of it.

Now, if you prefer to take the photos yourself it could be much faster. There is no one else involved and no need to wait for the photographer to edit and then send them to you.

It is also more cost-effective to take them yourself because it can save you some money that you would otherwise have spent on a professional photography service. You can have many technological tools that can help you reduce the costs of taking your photographs.

Photography plays a very important role in real estate marketing and should not be taken lightly but as always; everything will depend on you.

If you want better results as a real estate consultant, invest a little more time and money into your visual content.

Increase Your Business With Quality Video Content

Why should a real estate agent care about video content?

Real estate marketing listings with videos on social media receive 403% more inquiries than those without video. For a local business trying to penetrate a crowded market, video production and optimization can be a key growth lever.

According to the National Association of Realtors, online video sites have rapidly gained in popularity, with 36% of people using videos as a source of information when searching for a home.

Use Appealing Pics
In social media real estate marketing, a correlation between video and sales efficiency or sales prices is relative, but its use represents more potential buyers paying attention to the property for sale.

It is worth mentioning that is more effective to sell a house with short, well-produced videos, that can gain your clients’ trust, and catch their interest in your real estate agency.

Happy Customers Become More Customers

Ask your clients for a brief testimonial of their experience, and of course, upload it to your social networks along with a nice photo of their new property. This type of content will pique the interest of interested prospects.

Publish these posts on a monthly or bi-monthly basis to create a habit.
